This is my first attempt at a Free Standing Pop Up Card that I made for my friend. I found the template on Split Coast Stampers. Of course I chose to make a Hello Kitty Card. Here it is when it's open.
These are the cards that we made at the Stampin' Up! party that I hosted on Friday. Kristin is such a great demonstrator! We used the faux suede technique on this card.
This purse was made using just the top note die.
I really like this card using the lattice die and butterfly punches. It was so easy to make, but still looks really intricate.I love the new specialty paper with the glitter! And the corduroy button is super cute. The boarder punch is really cute too - I may have to order that next time! (This card looks a lot better in person, the picture just doesn't do it justice.)
This one was supposed to have a sentiment stamped on it, but I did the embossing too high so there wasn't space after I added the ribbon. I should probably follow instructions next time!
This card is so simple but so cute, especially with the flower button.
We had a great time making cards, eating and shopping! I can't wait for my order to come in!
I made these favors for my Stampin' Up! party that I'm having tonight. I cased these 3 drawer Valentine Boxes from Patti. I love Patti's blog - this is not the first time I've cased something from her! LOL! Here's a close-up of one of the boxes, I used the Martha Stewart coordinating corner and border punch.
Here's all the goodies that I put inside the boxes. I decided to add some variety, so I used different candies and cookies.
The last week of January is super busy with birthdays. Here's a card I made for my DH's niece. I love this gift card holder pattern. You can find the instructions on Paper Pleasing Ideas. Inside view of the card - as you open the card, the gift card pulls up.
Hi Everyone - Please stop over at the Pretty Ditty blog. Jamie is raffling off 2 of these super cute reversible aprons that she's made, and every dollar will be donated to Doctors Without Borders. The raffle ends on Wednesday, Jan 20th at 9:00pm pst.
I got a Christmas gift in the mail yesterday. I love getting gifts after Christmas because I feel like it extends Christmas, and I don't have to wait to open it! I hate waiting. My Aunt made this super cute calendar holder. LOVE Hello Kitty and cupcakes. It's so cute! She even decorated the back!
AND she sent a ton of super cute paper!
Whooohooo! Thanks Auntie! I'm excited to do some crafting this weekend with my new paper! Hope you all have a great weekend!
My good friend made these for me for Christmas. I love Hello Kitty, but I really like this gift because these containers have been up-cycled using empty Stampin' Up! containers. How great is that?!
Last year my goal was to make most of my gifts and cards, and I did a pretty good job. This year, on top of making gifts, I also want to try and use the supplies and materials I already have and not to by too much.
