Any time I need to make multiples of a card, I turn to my Big Shot. The letters for this card are die cut from the Serif Essentials alphabet set. The "o" is the wreath from the Bright Hopes stamp set and punched out using the 2 3/8" scalloped circle.
The Marina Mist card stock was embossed using the Snow Burst embossing folder with some Old Olive ribbon for more embellishment. The background paper is from Letters to Santa DSP.

Punch Art Christmas Tags
I just had to make these reindeer when I saw them on Charlotte’s blog, I made mine into a gift tag. Such a great way to use the stocking and snowflake punches.
I also used the square lattice embossing folder to give some texture to the reindeer and gave him a red glimmer nose.

This punch art Santa is just one of many great ideas on Patty’s blog. Isn’t he adorable?!

Happy Birthday Linda!
Yesterday was my good friend Linda’s birthday. It happened to land on Thanksgiving this year. I hope she had fun! This is the card that I made for her.
I used some Mocha Morning DSP and spritzed some vanilla shimmer on the black card stock.
No midnight shopping for me. I much preferred being in my bed, cozy and warm. I may venture out today, I’m still debating. This is the weekend we decorate our house for Christmas, so I have a lot of boxes to pull out of storage. Happy (safe) shopping to you all!

Holly Jolly tag
These tags were made using the Two Tags die and the holly is from the Stocking Accents die. The sentiment is from a retired stamp set, but matches so perfectly.
A simple card, but I like the results.

Merry snowflake tag
I've been working on some Christmas tags and came up with this one using the Two Tags die and the snowflake punch. I also added a Tiny Tag "merry" using a brad.
I punched the snowflake in some shiny silver paper, so the pictures came out a little weird, but I really like how they turned out IRL.

Milk Carton vs Candy Wrapper
It's the battle of the boxes. Here a side-by-side comparison of boxes made using the Milk Carton Die and the Candy Wrapper Die.
The left is the Milk Carton Die, the middle is the Candy Wrapper Die and the right is the Milk Carton Die with a ribbon closure. The Candy Wrapper box is slightly taller than the Milk Carton box.

Candy Wrapper box
Battle of the boxes continues. I made this box using the candy wrapper die. It is basically the same technique as making the modified milk carton die, just using the candy wrapper die.
The candy wrapper die pre-cuts the holes for you to string your ribbon and tie the box closed.

2nd Milk Carton Box
Here is my 2nd box using the Milk Carton die. My first one used a ribbon to close it, for this one, I just pushed the top down within itself to close it.
I kind of like how the top looks, and it so simple with no need for a ribbon.

Hip-Hip-Hooray Meil Lin
Today is my friend’s daughter’s birthday. Mei Lin, with her pinwheel, is so perfect with the Big Top Birthday DSP. And I love the bright colors for a little girl’s birthday card.
I forgot to take a picture of the inside, but I made a little pocket for some birthday money.
Don’t forget to stop by Sister Stamps blog for more information on their stamps and to check out their New Year’s release!

Milk Carton Box
I was debating on getting the milk carton die because I've been seeing this box all over the internet and thought it was so cute. My friend has the die, so she sent me some pre-cut paper so I could try it out. I decided to go with a Christmas theme for this one.
It was a LOT of folding. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, but probably not something I would mass produce. I think making the box is easier than making the milk carton itself cause when you make a milk carton, the top has to line up to look nice. But because the ribbon cinches the top closed on the box version, you can't really tell if it doesn't align perfectly.

Sister Stamps Christmas Tags
Today I have some Christmas tags I made using Sister Stamps. Here is Setsuna with his sack full of gifts.
And Yuki is so happy with her stocking full of goodies.
These stamps are so cute, I had to make some tags out of them. The tags are a little big, but I think on a gift box they will be perfect. Check out the Sister Stamps blog for more information on how to get your own stamps and to see their New Year's release!

Cupcake Birthday card
Another card using Big Top Birthday paper. I just can't get enough of it! I used lots of scallops on this card - it is a tad on the too busy side, but I think it still works.
I love the red glimmer paper for the cherry!
