Tone on Tone Masculine Cards

After making the last gift card holder in my previous post, it inspired me to try to make some masculine cards by using tone on tone colors. I think these came out pretty good.
I popped up the sentiment to make it stand out a little more since there's not much color.
Here's the inside, another gift card holder.
And I made a "thank you" card too.

Another gift card holder

I made another gift card holder like the one in the previous post, but I switched around the colors. I also used some bling on this one.

Here's the inside.
And a close-up of the sentiment.

Baja Breeze Gift Card Holder

I made a couple of these gift card holders for some people at work. I used a bunch of my new stamps from the new Stampin' Up! catalog. The sentiment is from the Perfect Punches stamp set. I love stamp sets that coordinate with punches!
I added a Bitty Button to the center of the flower for texture.
The flowers on the outside of the card were stamped in Crumb Cake to coordinate with the inside Elegant Soiree DSP. I also used Doodle This for the flower and swirlys on the outside and inside.
I really like how this all came together.

Small Cards and Tags

I decided to make a bunch of cards and tags as gifts for a birthday gift. Here are a few tags that I've made so far.
This is a 3x3 card. I used the new Stampin' Up! Square Lattice embossing folder for the background.
These are some small cards that I made to fit into the Scallop Envelope. I added some double stick tape to the envelope so it could be sealed shut.
After looking at these, I think I need some to make more gender neutral cards!

A couple more 3x3 cards

In my previous post, I had flower themed 3x3 cards. So this time I tried for "kid" cards. I think this is my new favorite card! I love how it turned out! I can't get enough of Fox and Friends!
I really like this card as well, but again, not sure why my picture is rotated. :(
Thanks for stopping by!

Around the yard

This guy has been hanging out on our front window for a few days now. He hasn't moved at all. So I finally decided to snap some pictures.
And I guess this guy wanted in on the photo shoot action too, since he appeared right as I was about to go back inside.
This is my "volunteer" pot of flowers. I didn't plan any of these. They just sprang up on their own.
Hope you're having a great weekend!

3x3 Cards

In the spirit of still trying to use up my scraps, I made a few 3x3 cards. These were so quick to make and you can use up a bunch of scraps on these really easily!
(Not sure why some of my pictures were rotated.) Have a fun weekend!!

"Extras"

I made this card using "extras" - all those pieces that get cut out but I don't use. I like the butterfly sizzlit, but I always end up with some extras, so I decided to make a card with them. I also used the square lattice embossing folder, which might be my new favorite texture.

Square Lattice card

I made this card using the new square lattice embossing folder from SU! I am also still trying to use what's already on my messy workspace. I still really like the bird punch, it's so simple, but can make the whole card by itself.
Back to a full week of work... and it's only Monday!

Gift Card Holder

I'm really trying to use up paper and embellishments (ribbon) to help me clean out some of the mess I have on my work area. This is what I came up with. I punched the flowers out of patterned paper.
Not one of my favorites, but I do feel good that I use what I already own.

Thank You's

I made some simple thank you cards trying to use up a box textured cards that I "found" in my stash of supplies.
Since the cards are such different colors of blue, I decided to just do all kinds of blue and not try to make it too matchy. I think they came out okay. Also used some ribbon and dew drops that I had.
Here's a close-up of the circles. Love the circle circus stamps!

Look what I got in the mail...

My friend sent me a bunch of stuff in the mail. This card came first. I really need to get better about adding embellishments, my friend's cards always inspire me.
Then, I got a box STUFFED with goodness! I got all of these fun crafting tools.
And this super cute card. Love the cupcakes!
And she sent me this purse. I'm so glad she sent it, I've been meaning to make one but its always so much easier when you have a sample IRL rather than just the instructions and pictures online.
This is what she put inside... they're gone already!
She also sent me this My Melody shopping bag - so cute!
I'm so luck to have such a thoughtful and talented friend!
Hope you all had a great 4th and are enjoying the long weekend (if you have one)!
