Another Sister Stamps Kiyomi Birthday

I know I already made a similar card to this one, but I really like this color combination. On this card, I used my SU butterfly embosslit instead of the butterfly that comes with the stamp so she would fit in my scallop circle die. Here's a close up of Kiyomi and her butterflies.

Still one of my favorite stamps!

Deliciously Made

I forgot to share this photo with you. This is the dessert that I took to a Shoe Box Swap a couple of weeks ago. I made some Ginger Sandwich Cookies and packaged them in these bags that I decorated. I stamped them using the Creatively Yours stamp set with Stazon Ink and added some Boho Blossom punches with a little Dazzling Details in the center. The Dazzling Details are available in the Holiday Mini catalog.
A great way to package your homemade goodies! It was also perfect for everyone to take an extra one for the ride home since they were already wrapped and ready to go!

Baby gift card holder

I got my color inspiration from the Big Top Birthday DSP, which I used on the inside of this card. For the outside, I used some DSP from the Brights collection. I embossed the bottom part of this card using the Stripes embossing folder and used the little ducky from the Every Little Bit stamp set.
In between each ducky I put a heart from the Heart to Heart punch.

Here's the inside. I used the Lighthearted stamp set from the upcoming Holiday Mini catalog for the main sentiment.

More stripes and hearts.

Twinkling Sister Stamps

The other day I was digging around all my craft supplies looking for something, but instead of finding what I was looking for, I discovered some forgotten treasures! I found a box full of Angelwings Twinkling H2Os, which are basically sparkly watercolors. So I decided to use these to color in my Sister Stamps. I was going to use them just for their clothes, but ended up using them on the entire stamp.
Here's a close up of Kiyomi.

You can see how sparkly it is in this picture.

And here's a close up of Mei Lin.

I can't wait for my next set of Sister Stamps! Check out their blog (http://sisterstamps.blogspot.com/) for more information!

Belated Birthday

I was a little late in getting this birthday card out, but the Build a Blossom stamp set and matching Blossoms Petal punch made it super fast to create this card. I also used the new Stripes textured embossing folder for added texture.
Here's a close-up of the flower.

Love all the matching stamps and punches! They are such a timesaver!

Just for You

I needed some new layout ideas, so for this card I saw a similar card in the SU! catalog and tried to copy it using a stamp set I already have. I think it came out okay, kind of a "meh" card. Maybe I need to try it with a different stamp set.

Also, just noticed that the sentiment doesn't show up very well in the photo. Maybe I'll get some inspiration this weekend.

Triple Treat Flower Thanks

Over the weekend, I attended a Shoe Box Swap with some other Stampin' Up! demonstrators. I learned a ton of new things and had a great time with these ladies. Here is the card that I came up with for my swap. I used the Letters to Santa DSP and the Triple Treat Flower stamp.
I love any stamp that coordinates with a punch, but this one stamp coordinates with 3 punches - so many possibilities!

Mocha Morning Birthday

I was trying to make an elegant birthday card for my friend's 40th birthday. I used the Mocha Morning DSP and chose one of the textured patterns.
I used the oval frame from the Designer Frames Textured Embossing Folder set and added some pearls for accent.

It is pretty simple, but I'm happy with how it turned it out.

Well Worn Birthday

I have a few "guy" birthday is coming up, so I decided I should try to make some masculine birthday cards. Here's one that I came up with. I think this Well Worn DSP is going to be my favorite for making masculine cards, with the muted colors and already distressed look.
I used the Log Cabin Smooch Spritz and used the French Foliage stamp set to add the water marks and leaves. I distressed the edges of the paper and crumpled the strip in the middle and frayed the corners.

What do you think? Not bad, huh?

Happy Graduation

My husband's friend's wife just graduated from technical college, so I whipped up this graduation card. I used the back/white side of the doily from the Flirtatious DSP and the sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes. Here's a close up of the butterfly embosslits that I added.

I forgot to take a picture of the inside of the card, but I used the "congratulations" stamp from the Swirls & Curls Verses hostess set, which has a butterfly as part of the image. So I carried out that theme on the front and also glued on some butterflies on the inside as well.

Photo Cards

We recently took some family picutres and I wanted to send them out to our family, so I made some cards that could hold photos. I used the Beyond the Garden DSP for the background. Then I used the lace ribbon border punch and layered the blossom bouquet punch over that. I also used the different layers from the blossom bouquet punch to make the flowers to cover the photo corners on the top.I only glued down the bottom 1/4 inch of the border so that I could slide the photo underneath it.

These flowers cover the photo corners that hold the photo in place.

Here's what the card looks like with a picture in it. (Sorry to have to blur out everyone!)

Hope you have a great weekend!

Fabulous Florets Birthday

I've been trying out some blending when coloring in my flowers. I really like the colors in the Beyond the Garden DSP, so I took my color cues from that and colored my flower with Pacific Point. I think the smaller flower came out better than the bigger flower.

Hmmm... well, I'll keep practicing!

Flirtatious Happy Birthday

My girlfriend's birthday is coming up, and I always think of purple when I think of her, not sure why - I don't even know if she likes purple. I got some new supplies in Wisteria Wonder and thought it would be perfect for her card. I used a strip of the new Flirtatious DSP in Wisteria Wonder. I also used the new Delicate Doilies stamp set to make the background. I used the Lace Ribbon Border punch and then layered Wisteria Wonder ruffled ribbon over it. The sentiment is from one of the new hostess sets.
I added a couple of rhinestone bling to the sentiment, which I punched using the scallop circle punch.

I made this a pocket card. Here is the inside. The sentiment is from the same hostess set.
