Chirstmas Tags

I love the Tags Till Christmas Stampin' Up! set. I made a couple of tags using the scraps from my swap.
This is using an old retired Hostess set.
I love the tinsel string, I think it makes the tags more festive.
Hope you have a spooky (but safe) Halloween!

Regional Convention Swaps - Part 1

Here are some of the swaps that I got from Convention this weekend. There are so many talented people out there! There were 400 people there, so lots of creativity going on!
I thought this card is so cleaver! She just taped the seam to get the holder for the tube.
That flower was made using the Fancy Flower Extra Large punch. I'll have to figure out how it was made!
This is a gift card holder.
This Santa was on top of a peppermint patty with another scalloped circle on the backside.
Such great ideas!!

Every Little Bit Christmas

I made these for a card swap I participated in over the weekend. I used the Every Little Bit stamp set and the Occasional Quotes (hostess level 3 set) for the sentiment. I also used the new Scallop Squares Duo die from the Holiday Mini and Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder.
I got the color scheme from the Jolly Holiday Design Series Paper.
Here are a couple of other cards using the other striped paper in the Jolly Holiday pack.
I got a ton of great ideas and I'll post some pictures of those over the next couple of days.

Fox and Friends Birthday

I still really like this stamp set - Fox and Friends. I also really like embossing folders right now. I used the SU! Square Lattice on this one.
Here's a close-up of the card.
Thanks for stopping by!

Birthday Cards

I'm not sure which version of this card I like better. I was trying to make a simple card, but also use up some of my ribbon. The layout is a 'case' from a card I made in a stamp camp I attended a while ago.
Thanks for visiting!

Picking Pumpkins

We had amazing weather this weekend, perfect for picking pumpkins. We headed to the pumpkin patch right down the road from our house. They had a really cute tractor ride for the little ones. Each barrel was decorated as a different animal.
There were a lot of green pumpkins and pumpkin blossoms out in the field.
And we found some cool looking corn in the field too.
Here's our pickin's for the day.
Hope you had a great weekend!

Elegant Lines Birthday

Here's another card I made using the Elegant Lines embossing template. I kept this card pretty simple since I wanted the background to stand out more.
Happy Friday!

Birthday Bakery

I made this card using the Stampin' Up! Birthday Bakery and Perfect Punches stamp sets. I used the Elegant Lines embossing folder to add some interest to the background.
Since the Real Red is kind of a dark color, I actually decorated the inside - which I almost never do!
The inside sentiment is from Fifth Avenue Floral.

RAK and more cupcakes

Look at these super cute RAKs I got from my Auntie!! Love the Hello Kitty stickys and the paper. So cute! Thanks Auntie!
I made a couple more of those gift card cupcakes.
If you get the day off, hope you're having fun. I have to work today, so no 3 day weekend for me.

Another Christmas card

Here's another Christmas Card I made using the Real Red and Crumb Cake combination. I used the Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder for the background. The frame for the sentiment is from the Tags Til Christmas set and sentiment is from Occasional Quotes.
Here's a close-up of the embossing and some embellishment I added.
I'm kind of liking this color combination.
Have a great weekend!

Thanks

I know its been a while since I've posted. We've been super busy with things around here. We went on an amazing 2 week trip to Italy. It was a much needed vacation for the both of us. We loved Venice, had a great time in Florence and had a lot of fun with my cousin and her husband in Milan. We're already thinking about our next trip!

Since we've been back from our trip, both of us have been so busy with work, more than just the normal vacation catch up. Its been a little rough. But this weekend I finally got a chance to do some crafts, so hopefully I'll be back on track now.
