I can't believe the holidays are right around the corner! It seems like we hardly had a summer! I made this card using the new Stampin' Up! Northern Flurry embossing Folder and Northern Frost decorative strip from the Holiday Mini. The frame around the sentiment is from the Great Friend stamp set and was cut out using the Matchbox Sizzix die. The white strip is punched using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Boarder punch.
I started making this card with an Asian theme, the flowers remind me of sakura (cherry blossoms). But then I started to add some paper flowers and more bling, and I think I got a little carried away. Oh well, I think it came out okay anyway.
I made this black and white gift card holder because I bought a gift card from White House Black Market and wanted the card to match. See how the gift card is all black?
I made this gift box and the cards and tags inside for my sister's birthday. You probably recognize the tag and cards on top from my previous posts. I used some clear acetate for the top and I used the cardboard that comes in the 12x12 paper packs. The lid just slides on and off.
Here is the box part, I just measured out the sizes I needed and added the little dividers.
Here is a side view. I added the blue scallops to cover the part where I attached the acetate to the cardboard.
I made this super fast card using all punches! The outer circle is the 2-1/2" circle punch from the Holiday Mini (just be sure to not to punch the fold). The next layer in is the 2-3/8" scallop circle punch, then the 1-3/4" scallop circle punch, then 1-1/4" circle punch that I ran through the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. I love the new Candy Wrapper Die from the Holiday Mini. I think its so cute! And it actually stays closed on its own, I just added the string for embellishment and to attach the tag. I embossed the card stock with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder. The stamp for the tag is from the Birthday Bakery Hostess Level 1 stamp set.
