Bucket of Cherries
I cased this card from the Stampin' Success magazine. I added some touches of my own and I love how it turned out. I used the new Build a Cupcake punch and was excited to see an alternative use for it rather than another cupcake.
I popped up a couple of the cherries for added dimension.

Mother's Day already?!
For the last card for my class this weekend, we'll be making this mother's day card. I know it is super early to be thinking about mother's day in January, but this layout just seemed like a mother's day kind of card. I used the new Blossom Petals Punch and matching Build a Blossom stamp set. Also used the new Framed Tulips embossing folder.
I love the new punches and coordinating stamp sets in the the Occasions Mini catalog. It's so easy to whip out a card!

XOXO
I used the XOXO stamp set for this Love card. I know not everyone is into Valentine's so I TRIED to make this one generic enough that you could maybe use for an anniversary or wedding - but it still looks like a Valentine to me!
This is the 5th card that for my class this coming weekend.

Glimmer Valentine
This is card #4. We'll be making this valentine using the new Heart Pressed letter press plate and the glimmer paper.
Here's a close-up, you can't really see the texture in the picture, but the background is de-bossed and inked. Kind of cool.
And I love the glimmer paper. Yay for glitter without the mess!

Birthday Wishes Owl
This is the 3rd card we'll be making in my stamp camp. I tried to make this one more neutral and not so girly. I used another stamp from Punch Bunch and Elegant Soiree paper.
The owl punch is so cute! One of my favorites.

Cherry on Top
This is card #2 that we'll be making at my stamp camp. I used the new Build a Cupcake punch and Create a Cupcake stamp set. I also got some of the new red glimmer paper for the cherry on top.
Here's a close-up of the glimmery cherry.

SAB For You
I'm having my first stamp camp in a little over a week. This is one of the cards that we're going to make. I used the For You stamp from the Punch Bunch stamp set from Sale-A-Bration. I kept the design pretty simple, but added some pearls for bling.
I also did some tone on tone but did paper piercing to add some definition.

Gift Card holder
Here's a gift card holder I made for my girlfriend who doesn't like cutesy stuff. I used a stamp from the Punch Bunch set from Sale-A-Bration and inked it up in Tempting Turquoise.
Here's the view of the inside of the holder.
A simple design, but I think it works.

French Foliage birthday
January is one of those months with a ton of birthdays, there's 8 birthdays all within a week of each other! Luckily they're all at the end of the month so I have time to start early with all my cards. My first project is my attempt at a masculine card. For some reason, I usually gravitate towards nature cards when I think of masculine cards. I love the French Foliage stamp set, so I used it here. I used the rock and roll technique on the leaves to get the multi-colors.
I distressed some of the paper to give it a more rustic look, and used the twine.

Double Happiness Invites
I haven't been posting for a while because I've been helping my girlfriend with her wedding invitations. They have a very short engagement, so the invitations had to be made ASAP! We kept them pretty simple, but they still took a while.
I used a double happiness character with red and silver paper.

I blanked out some of the personal information, to protect the innocent (haha).
I'm really looking forward to the weekend, this week was my first full week back and work and it felt super long. I should be back to a more regular posting schedule starting next week.

I tried out a new color combination that I found in the Color Coach - Real Red, Tempting Turquoise and Sahara Sand. This is what I came up with. I used the Cute by the Inch stamp set.
I also added some Real Red ribbon.
