These cards are made using the Flirtatious Specialty DSP from the new catalog. I just cut out the "doilies" and used them as the focal point - so easy but pretty! I've done a few different variations.
These are also using the Lace Ribbon punch from the new catalog.
So many things to look forward to in the new catalog!
I used the Flower Garden embossing folder to make this card. I colored it in using the blender pens. Here's a better picture of the embossing and coloring.
I've been working on my wish list of things to order from the new catalog. Just a few more days to go!
I finally got around to making some cards using some new products from the new Idea Book and Catalog. I used the Fancy Fan letterpres plate to add some texture to the wild wasabi paper, and the circle die cut is from Perfect Pennants die.
Here is a closeup of the letterpress texture.
I also played around with the new Lace Ribbon Border punch and the Happiest Birthday Wishes Hostess set for the sentiment. The background was stamped using Delicate Doilies. I added some pearl bling to the sentiment.
I even stamped the inside with more of the Delicate Doilies stamps.
I can't wait till July 1st so I order more stuff from the new catalog! Just one more week! Have a great weekend.
My cousins are starting a stamp company with super cute Asian themed rubber stamps. Their first release is on July 1st and they are so CUTE!. Check out their blog at: http://sisterstamps.blogspot.com/ for a preview and a chance to win some blog candy! They're also on Facebook, so look them up under Sister Stamps, LLC.
I also made up some 2x2 cards and matching envelopes using the Bitty Box and Envelope die for the tins as well. It was a great way to use up some old paper and scraps!
Hope you have a great weekend! I hope to have some tags to show you next week.
I finally got around to doing something with the tins I had bought from the Clearance Rack. I decided to decorate them using a bunch of rub-on that I've had forever. All of these are retired supplies.
I'll be filling the tins with some gift enclosure cards and tags. Check back next week for those posts!
I used the smaller petals of the Build a Blossom stamp set and punched them out using the matching Blossoms Petals punch. I also used the Scallop Squares Duo die.
The sentiment is from Perfect Punches, punched out with the Scallop Oval punch layered over the oval punch.
I used the Flower Garden embossing folder and butterfly prints. The colors are a little bright, but I think they work. I used the debossed side of the embossing.
I have so many embellishments that I haven't been using in my quest to make "mail-able" cards. So I decided to use some of the embellishments on this card. I really like how it turned out.
I guess I'll just have to hand deliver instead of mail!
I made a couple of different cards using the Beautiful Wings embosslit die and the Paisley Prints paper. Here's a close-up of the butterfly. I only attached the middle of the butterfly to give it some added dimension.
Here's another card using the same butterfly die and paper with a completely different look.
