Meet Yoko. She is another stamp from Sister Stamps. She's "caught" a crane, which makes me think of good luck or good fortune. She looks so happy with her crane!
Tomorrow is the 3rd release from Sister Stamps. Can't wait for my stamps!!
I needed a going away card for a friend, but I didn't want it to be a sad card, so I thought Mei Lin would be perfect. I used more Big Top Birthday DSP for the bright colors.
I use this layout a lot, not very creative, but it works.
Sister Stamps is releasing their holiday stamps on October 1st. Can't wait!
This is my first card using Sister Stamps Ayako. I like the combination of blues and browns and the more fall look of this card. I normally don't cut out images (cause I'm lazy!) but she was really easy to cut out and am pretty happy with how this card turned out. I added some pearls for some added accent.
Check out the Sister Stamps blog. They have a new release coming out later this week!
I had a stamp camp a couple of weeks ago, and these are the cards that we made. This first card we used Stampin' Up!'s new scoring tool to make the pleated "ribbon".
This next card we used the Triple flower punch.
I cased this card from Jackie Topa. She used the new stocking stamp set and matching punch. Isn't this such a cute idea?!
I love the new Spice Cake DSP, it works perfectly for fall cards. And of course I included a holiday card using the new silver glimmer paper and snowflake embossing folder.
Last weekend I had some ladies over and decided to package up some goodies to give them ideas for the holidays. I stamped on these bags with Stazon ink in green and red and added a little flower for decoration. On the back I sealed it closed with a label that I punched. Here are some cupcakes toppers that I made too.
These came together super fast using punches.
I love adding these little touches to baked goods, I think it makes something homemade even more special.
I’ve been using a lot of bright pastel colors with my Sister Stamps, so with Miyono, I thought I would try out some fall colors and it just so happens that I really like this Spice Cake DSP.
I used my new Nobu Sister Stamps for the first time. Isn’t he cute?! The pattern on his toy reminded me of the Big Top Birthday DSP that I have, so I used the color scheme from the paper to color in Nobu. His face is so cute, don't you think?
My friend needed some back to school gifts for the staff at her kids school, so I decorated some candy bars for her. I found some Trader Joe candy bars that came in boxes, so I picked those since it would be easier to wrap. These bars also has a gift card holder attached.
I tried to make a few different designs. I used a bunch of retired product for this one.
I really like this Big Top Birthday paper, I think the bright colors are perfect for Grade School gifts. I also used some retired stickers.
Close up of my pinwheel.
Here is another design from the Big Top Birthday, with some retired stickers.
I think they came out pretty cute. And who wouldn't mind getting CHOCOLATE!
I bought the Beautiful Season stamp set a few months ago and this is my first time inking it up. I used the Fancy Fan letterpress plate on the background. Not my best coloring, but not bad for my first attempt with this stamp.
As you can tell, I love the decorative label punch. I added some boho blossom flowers made to look like a poinsetta with a brad and some Dazzling Details.
It seems so early to be thinking about Christmas, but it is already September! Where has the time gone?
I’m still trying to work on my vintage techniques. For this card I used the Fabulous Florets stamp as the focal point. And I stamped the En Francais background stamp for some added detail. I framed the Fabulous Florets in the new Designer Frames textured impression folder.
The sentiment is from Petite Pairs.
I think it looks pretty good. =) Hope you have a great weekend!
Here’s another Sister Stamp card using Mei Lin. I used both markers and the Twinkling H2O watercolors. I embossed the background for some added texture. Here's a closeup of Mei Lin.
I used the tutorial from Dawn to make this super cute heart punch flower. I used some retired DSP for the flower and an antique brad for the center of the flower. I used the Elegant Bouquet embossing folder to give some texture to the background. You can’t really see it in the picture, but I also sprayed some Vanilla Shimmer Smooch spritz on the background. Here's another view.
Isn't this great?! I love being able to use my punches in not so obvious ways. Hope you're having a great long weekend!
I used the new Shaker Frames foam adhesive from the Holiday Mini to make this shaker card. I embossed some Real Red card stock using the Stripes embossing folder and paired it with some Big Top Birthday DSP. Here are some other views of the "shaker" part of the card.
I added some Mica Flakes and Champagne Glass Glitter to the inside of the shake frame.
I think these shake frames might get me back into making shaker cards.
