I was so excited to get this birdcage ornament from Jamie (Pretty Ditty) for Christmas! The picture below isn't very good and doesn't do it justice. It is the cutest birdcage - I love it!
Here's a closeup of the little bird.
Big plans for New Year's Eve? We're having dinner with some friends, it should be fun. See you back here in 2011!
I made some thank you cards using the last of my Jolly Holiday paper. Here's a close-up, I used the petals a plenty embossing folder. I also used the dotted scallop ribbon, decorative label, modern label and word window punches.
My friend's daughter's birthday was yesterday. I made this using a retired stamp set. Colors are Melon Mambo, Pacific Point and So Saffron. I used the envelope so I could include some birthday money inside.
Along with all the holiday crafts, I've been baking a lot too. I know I swore I wouldn't make cake pops anymore, but I must be glutton for punishment because I made these snowman cake pops for a friend. Here they are all wrapped up.
She needed 50!! of them.
These were a little easier since the stick is on top (as opposed to being like a lollipop and having the cake on top). But still took way longer than I expected and there were still casualties.
Taking a break from all the holiday cards and dug out my butterfly sizzlit. I made two versions of this card, one vertical and one horizontal. With all the rain we've been having, I needed some spring inspiration.
I made this card for my cousin's birthday. I used crumb cake and marina mist and sponged crumb cake ink over everything to give it a little more antique feel to go with the antique brad.
Things have been busy with holiday parties, shopping, wrapping and shipping!
This is the last card that I made for my sister. This card uses the Wild About You stamp set. Scroll down to see the other 3 cards that I posted this week. I did some paper piercing on this card to add some texture.
I made 3 of each of the 4 designs and will be giving these to my sister along with a return address stamp with my nephew's name on it and some Stampin' Spots. Hope she likes them!
I made a few thank you cards for my sister to send out from my nephew. I used the retired Wild About You stamp set and Circle Circus. Here's a closeup of the lion from the set. Stay tuned for more thank you cards.
I tried a color combo that's out of my comfort zone for this card. I used basic black, basic gray, whisper white and cherry cobbler. I used the Day of Gratitude stamp set and Teeny Tiny Wishes for the sentiment.
