I used the same birthday sentiment on these two cards that I made using Sister Stamps. This one is Mei Li. I used some shimmer paint on the background, my new favorite toy. Here's a close-up of her.
And this is Mei Lin with a pink and purple color scheme.
I made another card using the Sister Stamps Mei Lin. I like how this color combination turned out. I used the background paper for my color inspiration, but added the yellow in to make it a little brighter. And of course I had to add some shimmer paint for some sparkles.
My mom needed some sympathy cards to add to her stock, so I spent the afternoon make some. These are not my favorite kind of cards to make, so it took a while. I got stuck on using Wild Wasabi, but they all came out pretty different.
I got some new Asian paper and knew I had to make a card with one of the Sister Stamps. So here is Kiyomi with her butterfly. I think she is my favorite, but it's hard to choose between all of them. I added some shimmer to the butterfly and parts of her kimono.
I made a bunch of these cards using hostess stamp sets. The flower is a new hostess set called Posy Punch and the sentiment is from the Summer Mini called Swirls & Curls Verses. Here's a closeup of the flower. I punched it using the Fancy Flower Punch and the leaves are the Little Leaves sizzlit die.
The edge was punched using the Scallop Trim Border.
I made these invitations for my nephew's first birthday party. I found the punch art lion from Penny's Creative Corner. Here's a close-up of the lion, isn't he cute?!
It took some time to punch and assemble them all, but I really like how the invitations turned out.
This is Mei Li by Sister Stamps. I think she is so cute! And I found the lantern paper that I thought went perfectly with the stamp. Don't forget to check out the Sister Stamps blog (http://sisterstamps.blogspot.com/)!
I got my new Sister Stamps in the mail the other day and I finally got a chance to ink them up. This is my first card using Mei Lin. I'm not the best at coloring, but I think she came out cute anyway. I added some pearl bling to the pinwheel and flower.
My parents were on a cruise over Father's Day and my Dad's birthday, so I had an extra week to work on my cards for my Dad. I decided to use the new Petite Pennants punch for his birthday card, along with one of the new Hostess Sets for the sentiment. For his Father's Day card, I used the trusty Owl stamp from the retired SAB set and matching punch. The texture plate I used for the background is now retired too.
July 1st - New catalog is LIVE! So much to order! Now I just need to find more time to actually craft!
